Discussion Questions

The questions listed below can often be used as questions to ignite conversations during the beginning of your meeting. After general announcements, you can ask one of these discussion questions to your members. Each member can go around and answer the question, if you have a very large club break out into groups before asking. Make sure that no one comments on each others answers and respects everyone's opinion. After everyone answers ask again if anyone wants to make any additional comments.

  • What is the best characteristic of an entrepreneur?
  • As an entrepreneur, do you believe it would be more cost effective to buy an established business or start a new one?
  • If a business fails , should the owner be responsible for paying its debts, even if it means selling a home or car?
  • What is success as an entrepreneur?
  • What’s your greatest fear as an entrepreneur?
  • Is it worthwhile to pursue a stale idea?
  • If you were to start Uber today, how would you gain your first thousand customers?
  • What’s the worst idea you’ve seen?
